- 1981 年 – 因为母亲患末期鼻咽癌，钻研自然医学- 人体学术反射理疗45年，母亲完全康复，享年91岁。
- 1982 年 – 深入学习与研究足部反射理疗法、自修人体学、中医、传统医学、营养学等;创立数间保健理疗中心，培训无数学生
- 1985 年 – 国际若石健康研究会 – 特专训，永久会员
- 1985 年 – 修读重庆中医院 (新加坡)，院长-罗荣基老师
- 1986 年 – 1993 年 – 深入学习与钻研，自然疗法 – 人体多项学术反射理疗法
- 1994 年 – 国际若石健康研究会 – 师资研修课程，编号: A94001
- 1995 年 – 中国传统国术损伤整复学会 – 永久会员，受聘为 – 新加坡会长
- 1995 年至今 – 受邀新加坡许多社会团体、学校、联络所等演讲与授课 ;並且接受海内外 40 多国，媒体访问-学术足部养生法，受邀，国际权威自 然健康疗法组织，学术性交流 / 演讲嘉宾 / 顾问
- 2001 – 2005 年 – 受聘于菲律宾参议院/总统候选人- 自然医学基金会导师/顾问
- 2016 年 : 著书《活路》，同年，荣获 2016 年 – 新加坡书展十大好书奖

- 1981 – Desmond started his research in Natural Medicine – Reflex-Therapy to help his mother recover from Nasopharyngeal cancer. It has been over 45 years since her full recovery. His mother continued to thrive in good health until she passed away at the age of 91.
- 1982 – In-depth research on Reflex-Therapy, pursuing Anthropology, Chinese Traditional Medicine (TCM), Traditional Medicine, Nutrition, etc.; established several health clinics to train countless students
- 1985 – International Institute Of Row-Shr Health – Special Training / Permanent Member
- 1985 – Pursued his studies in Chong Ging Chinese Physicians Centre (Singapore), Dean – Mr Luo Rongji
- 1986 – 1993 – In-depth research in Natural Medicine – Multiple Academic Human Clinical Reflex-Therapy
- 1994 – International Institute Of Row-Shr Health – Conduct Lecturer (certificate no. A94001).
- 1995 – China Traditional Martial Arts Recovery Association – Permanent member, President (Singapore)
- 1995 till today – Invited by various social organizations, schools, community clubs to lecture on Academic Reflex-Therapy; Media interviews with over 40 countries on Reflex-Therapy; Invited by international authority health therapy organization, academic exchanges / speakers / consultants
- 2001-2005 – Consultant & Mentor (Natural Medicine Foundation) to the Philippine Senate and Presidential Candidates
- 2016 : Author of 《ALIVE》- Top 10 Popular Readers’ Choice
- 2021 – Co-authored the book 《Living A LIFE》， with wife, Dr. Chua Kay Tse, which has garnered significant recognition and endorsements from esteemed medical experts and scholars internationally.
